Welcome to the District Bulk Upload feature. With the newest Leader in Me Online feature, you'll be able to add your entire staff to the district at once.
This guide will walk you through step-by-step how to add your users to the system.
Getting There:
To reach the bulk upload feature you will need to click the "District Users" tab on the navigation bar. This tab will be represented by an icon with 3 people.
Importing Users:
Previously, when you reached the District Users tab you would see the two options below, "invite users, and +new user".
On the updated Leader in Me District Users tab, you will see a new button, the "Bulk Upload Users" button.
Uploading:
Once you click the "Bulk Upload" button, you will reach the screen below. On this screen, you will see a dropdown where you can choose to upload users to an individual school, or a district. You will also find a Sample CSV to help with your upload. This CSV will have all the formatting, tabs, and options you need for a successful upload.
Start by downloading the sample file, and pasting your data into the sheet. When your file is complete, click "File", then "Save As" and make sure the format is a CSV.
Once you have selected your file, the file name will appear below "Upload CSV" and then you can click the "Submit" button below.
Clicking the "Submit" button will take you to the screen below, where you will match your data.
The seven fields below should be represented in your CSV file:
- Email - Use your school email.
- First Name
- Last Name
- Preferred Locale* - This field determines the language you'd like displayed.
- Role - This is the user's title.
- Site Permissions - This field will show if the user is an admin, or a regular user.
- Status - User status will be "active or disabled"
- School Slug - The school slug will organize users within your upload by assigning them to the right school within Leader in Me Online.
Preferred Locale* - Your preferred locale is the language that you'd prefer your platform displayed in for each user.
Once you have matched your data and uploaded your CSV, you will see the screen below.
After matching your data you will see 3 boxes at the bottom. These will show you all of the valid, invalid, and total uploads. After you've checked your list, you will click the "Submit my Data" button.
Once your data has been submitted you will see the screen below. On this screen, you will be able to download your invalid records, as well as your original CSV.
You also have the option to upload additional data if you need to.
