Start by logging into www.leaderinme.com
Select the "My Classroom" dropdown on the top navigation. Within that dropdown, you will see the "Curriculum" tab.
When you've landed on the Curriculum page you will see an introduction video as well as professional learning resources at the top. Lower down the screen you will see that the levels are represented as individual cards.
Hovering over a card will allow you to "Preview" or "Start the Class"
Preview mode will give you the ability to toggle between levels.
Starting a class will allow you to track progress with an individual class or group of students.
Module Navigation
The left menu bar contains the unit titles.
Once you click a module, the lesson information will appear to the right. Click a module to explore or prepare to facilitate.
The Page will automatically default to the Overview tab, highlighting the module information.
Each module contains information to help you get started, including:
- Module Standard
- Content Connection
- Student Leadership Portrait Competency
- Vocabulary
Information to keep the learning going, including:
- School-To-Home Connection
- Inside-Out Modeling
- Integrated Approaches
Lesson Navigation - Teacher Preparation
Select a lesson to access Teacher Preparation Notes and Student Slides.
The Teacher Notes view provides quick access to facilitation directions and previews of student slides.
Return back to the Level page by clicking the Course button in the top left corner.
Every lesson contains Materials & Preparation, including links to corresponding Curriculum Companion resources. You can find these in the Overview section on the Course page.
Lesson Navigation - Student Slides
Once Teacher Preparation is complete, click the Start Lesson button to present to Students button.
- Change the language you viewing, right within the Lesson.
- Access to teacher notes and full-screen mode in the top right corner.
- Facilitator notes in the bottom right corner provide reminders about the empowered learning approach and the student configuration for the learning experience
- Slide navigation tools appear in the bottom right-hand corner of the slide.
- Return to the level page by clicking the "Course" button.
After you've made it through all the slides in the lesson, you will be prompted with one more. It will give you the option to "Mark Complete" or "Exit."
You also have the option to mark a lesson complete on the Lessons page using the three-dot menu next to the "Start Lesson" button.
Print Teacher Notes
By clicking on the 3 dot menu in the top right-hand corner of the lesson, you will see the option to "Print Teacher Notes."
Once you click this option, you will be able to send the teacher notes to your printer or save them as a PDF.
Link to Modules and Lessons
Teachers can share modules or lesson links with other Leader in Me Online users for quick viewing and planning.
Click the link button to copy the link to your clipboard. Paste the link to share with other Leader in Me Online users.
Once the link is copied, you can share it by pasting it in an email.
Starting Classes
On the main page of the Curriculum tab, you will see all available levels.
Hovering over a level will bring up two options. Preview and Start Class.
Overview - This will give you the ability to toggle between lessons.
Start Class - This will allow you to track progress with an individual class or group of students. When you click "Start Class" you will be asked to give your class a name.
Submitting Feedback
Leader in Me wants to provide you with the best user experience. We'd love to hear your feedback. On the main Curriculum page, you will see a button to share feedback.
Once you've clicked the "Share Feedback" button, you will be prompted with a short form to share your thoughts on the platform. Please make sure to click the Submit button at the bottom when you're done.
