Exam Step by Step:

**You must be enrolled in the professors section to receive an exam invite. 

• Check for an email from FranklinCovey Exams and/or Instructure Canvas
• Click the link in the email
• This will open Instructure Canvas in your browser.
  • Even if you already have a Canvas account, this will be a new one specifically for the LeaderU Exam.
• Create your account in Canvas and follow the instructions
• Add Honorlock Extension to your browser. 
  • Honorlock is a Virtual Proctoring service and is only compatible with Google Chrome.
  • You must use Google Chrome to take the exam. 

Why is Canvas asking for a join code?

You should not need a join code. Please use the link in the email you received from FranklinCovey Exams. This will take you directly to the exam. 

I did not receive the email from FranklinCovey Exams. How do I get the email?

Did you purchase the course? Did you enroll in your professors section? We pull the section roster to upload to each exam. If you never enrolled in the section please email support@leaderu.us to be added to the exam.

Canvas is asking for an Access Code.

You should not need an access code. Please make sure you are opening the link in Google Chrome and have added the Honorlock extension.

Having trouble with honorlock extension?

1. Turn off all other extensions. 
   1. Go to chrome://extensions/ in your browser. Toggle off every extension besides Honorlock. 
2. Make sure your Google Chrome allows pop ups: 
   1. go to Settings > Privacy and security > Site Settings > Pop-ups and redirects  and Toggle to ON

Purchased LU account with school email; registered in your course section; checked your spam folder for email from FranklinCovey Exams

When is support available?

Support is available Monday to Friday from 8am-5pm central time. Requests received after hours or on the weekends will be answered during working hours.

How long does the exam take?

Exams are multiple choice and typically take anywhere from 45-60 minutes to complete. You are given 90 minutes to complete the exam to accommodate any extra time you may need.

How will I know my grade?

Upon completion, you will see your grade. If you pass, you will receive an email from Credly with your exam badge and certificate.
