First 8 Days is a series of lesson plans for teachers to use during the first 8 days of the school year. Lesson plans are available for Levels K-8.
Once you choose a level, you can start the lesson or preview it first.
Clicking the preview button on the Course Overview page will take you to the screen below.
1 This section shows the course overview and corresponding lessons.
2 A list of all the courses.
3 The Module Overview shows you how to get started and includes links to any additional resources you may need.
4 Printing the lesson is as easy as clicking the printer icon.
5 When previewing a lesson, a banner at the top will note: "Preview Mode — progress won't be saved."
As noted above, your progress won't be saved while you're in preview mode. If you open the slides in preview mode, you'll be asked whether you'd like to start a class once you reach the final slide.
To start the lesson, do so from the Course Overview page.
Clicking "New Class" will prompt a box to open, where you can name your class.
