Principals are automatically registered for Leader in Me Online as part of a school’s onboarding process. Use this guide to register the rest of your staff, add or invite staff users, and share site administrator access.

Step 1: Navigate to School Users
Hover over My Districts & Schools in the top navigation bar to open the dropdown, then click School Users.
Step 2: Select the Staff Users Tab
At the top of the page, click Staff Users (next to Student Users) to view your school’s staff roster.
Step 3: Add or Invite Staff Users
Click the Manage Staff Users dropdown in the top-right corner of the Staff Users table. Choose one of three options:
- New Staff User: Add one staff member at a time.
-
Bulk Upload Users: Upload a list of staff in the Upload CSV area to register them all at once.
- The system automatically matches each column in your list to the corresponding field.
- Review the matches, correct any errors using the dropdown menus, and skip columns that don’t apply.
- When all columns show “Ready,” click Match my Data, then Submit my Data.
- Invite Staff: Send staff a preformatted email invitation they can accept themselves.
Step 4: Share Site Administrator Access
Users with site administrator permission receive emails when staff request activation, and they can invite, manually enter, activate, and edit users. To give this permission to another staff member, such as your Lighthouse Coordinator:
1. Find their name in the Staff Users table, and click the ··· menu under Actions in that row.
2. Select Edit User.
3. Scroll to User Roles. If the staff member has access to more than one site (e.g., multiple schools, or a school and a district), you’ll see a separate Site Permission and Role row for each. Edit the correct row.
4. Set Site Permission to Site Administrator for the relevant school or district.
5. Click Save at the bottom of the page.
