Below is a step-by-step guide to setting up the MRA through your school’s MRA Dashboard. This quick process is done every time your school completes an MRA.
Activating Your School’s MRA:
Please note: Only those set up as School Administrators or District Coaches within the Leader in Me Online can activate a school’s MRA.
- After you log in to LeaderinMe.com, click on “My School” in the top navigation. In that drop-down, you will see an MRA tab, clicking that will send you to the MRA homepage.
- You can also access the MRA page by clicking the Leader in Me Journey tab.
- This page has been updated to include a more in-depth look at your MRA and will include:
- WIGs
- Achievement - Progress in academics, attendance, and behavior.
- Perception - Student, family, and staff perceptions of how the school is doing
- Process - implementation fidelity of chosen processes, such as Leader in Me.
To start a new MRA, edit your current MRA, or find survey links, you will scroll down to the Perception section pictured below and click "View MRA."
You will then see your MRA dashboard, pictured below. When you're ready to start a new MRA, you can click, Administer the MRA.
- Upon clicking "Administer MRA," you will be taken to the next page, showing a form asking for school-specific information. (image below)

- If you don’t want all response groups to have the same start and end date uncheck the box that says “Same Availability For All Surveys”
-
Target Number of participants to take the survey: Enter your target number of respondents for each survey (A minimum of 10 survey responses is required to view MRA data)
- Student Survey: 80% of total eligible students in your school (Grades 4 and above).
- Staff Survey: 80% of ALL school staff (teaching, non-teaching, and administration)
- Family Survey: 20% of the total students (all grades)
- Click "Start MRA"
Sharing Survey Links

Copy and paste the links for each survey into the communication method of your choice. (graphic 2)
-
Be sure to share the correct link with each participant group.
Note:

- The assessment for staff and students takes 20-30 minutes to complete.
- The assessment for parents will take 10-15 minutes to complete.
- Checking Your Progress
- On the same page used to Start a new MRA, you can monitor the number of Survey Responses. (image below)
- The progress bar will fill in as you get closer to your target number of participants.
- Remember, the goal is approximately 80% of staff and students and 20% of families.
- Not seeing as many responses as you’d hoped halfway through--Send out a reminder!
