Clear the path for facilitators
The Families Administrator is in a position to steward facilitators in completing the certification process by:
Inviting Selected Facilitators
- Navigate to the "Families Certification" landing page.
- Click on "View Facilitators" to get to the "Facilitators Dashboard" page
- Click on "+Add School Staff" and "+Invite Parent" buttons to engage up to six school community members.
Note: Access to the "Start Certification" button only becomes available after the Families Administrator has uploaded a signed agreement to the Facilitators Dashboard page.
Uploading Signed Agreements
- Navigate to the "Facilitators Dashboard" page.
- Click on the three-dot overflow menu in the “Action” column and select “Upload Agreement” for each facilitator. Allowed file types are .pdf and .doc.
- View an uploaded agreement by clicking on “View Agreement.” After uploading the agreement, the status column on the table will change from “Pending” to “Approved.”
Scheduling and Approving Teach-Back Sessions
Once an individual has completed Steps 1 & 2 in the certification process, it will be the Families Administrator's responsibility to schedule a date and time for the individual to practice teaching back a segment that they have learned. Coordinate schedules to include others going through the certification process at your school or invite four to five colleagues to serve as your audience if you’re certifying on your own.
- Navigate to the Families Certification landing page and click on the "View Facilitators" button.
- On the Facilitators Dashboard page, click on the blue "Schedule" button. This will pop up a date picker to input a date.
- When the facilitator completes a satisfactory Teach Back session, click on the option to "Mark Teach Back as Complete”
Note: Selected Facilitators must have at least begun Step 1 before a Families Administrator can schedule the Teach Back session.
