LeaderU Is Now More Accessible for Everyone
We're excited to announce that the accessibility widget is now live across LeaderU for all users and students. Look for the blue circle icon with a person on it. You'll find it anchored on the lower-right corner of your screen on every LeaderU page. One click opens a full menu of tools that let you adjust the site to fit the way you see, read, and navigate best.
Why we added this
Learning should never be blocked by how content is displayed. Whether someone needs larger text, higher contrast, a calmer visual experience, or full keyboard navigation, this widget puts those controls directly in their hands.
What you can do with it
Once you click the icon, a panel opens with adjustments organized into a few areas:
- Content adjustments — Change text size, spacing, and alignment so content reads comfortably at your own pace.
- Color and visual adjustments — Control contrast, saturation, and text color to reduce eye strain or accommodate visual impairments.
- Orientation and focus adjustments — Mute sounds, hide images, stop animations, and simplify on-page elements to cut down on distractions.
- Language support — View LeaderU in one of 33 supported languages, and use the built-in AI-powered text simplifier and dictionary for denser content.
- AI assistant — Make adjustments by voice request (for example, "make the text bigger" or "give me a plain-language summary"), with guided navigation built in.
Any preferences you set stay applied as you move through the platform, so you only need to set them up once per session.
Who it's for
Every LeaderU user and student now has access. No separate license, toggle request, or admin setup is required. It's on by default across the platform starting today.
How to try it
- Log in to LeaderU as you normally would.
- Look for the blue circle icon with a person on it, usually docked along the edge of the screen.
- Click it to open the accessibility panel and explore the available adjustments.
- Set the options that work best for you and they'll carry through your session.
