Discovering the 7 Habits is the only certification module that ends with an exam rather than a project — every other certification track ends with the student turning in a project. The exam exists to make sure students are up to speed on the 7 Habits before moving on, especially if they're coming in less familiar with the content. This article covers how to open the exam window for students and monitor results from the Progress and Evaluation screen.
From your Student Class, go to the Coursework tab and select the final lesson in the lesson list (e.g. Lesson 13: Credentialing Exam). This opens the Progress and Evaluation screen, where you evaluate leadership experiences, manage evaluators, and review student progress.
Click Start Assessment/Reopen Assessment to open the exam window for the class. You'll be asked to confirm:
Note: once the exam window has been opened at least once, this same button reads Reopen Assessment instead of Start Assessment — that's covered in Managing Interruptions During an Exam.
On the student's end, they see a matching Assessment Available screen with a Start Assessment button once you've opened the window, and must accept a short terms-and-expectations agreement before the exam begins. See Discovering the 7 Habits for Students for the full student-side walkthrough.
The Assessment Results table updates every 10 seconds to give you a live view of every student assigned to the exam.

Click the three-dot menu next to any student to extend their time individually or revoke their access.
When testing is finished, click Close Assessment (next to Extend Time) to close the start window so no new students can begin. Students already taking the exam are not interrupted.
