This article covers both sides of Discovering The 7 Habits: how you, as the teacher, set up the module for a group of students, and what students see and do once they're in it.
From My Classroom > Curriculum, select the Levels 9–12 curriculum. Under Digital Curriculum Facilitation and Certification Tools, you'll see a tile for Discovering The 7 Habits (BETA) alongside the other certification-track modules (Achieving Goals, Finding Your Voice, Strengthening Wellness, Developing High-Trust Relationships, Contribution to the Community, and Succeeding With People).
Click the Discovering The 7 Habits (BETA) tile to open the module.
The Module Overview page gives you the research base and learning objectives for the module, along with the full lesson list in the left-hand panel — Lessons 1–10 cover the 7 Habits content itself, Lesson 11 is Credentialing Exam Preparation, Lesson 12 is Taking the First Step, and Lesson 13 is the Credentialing Exam.
Your existing classes for this module, if any, are listed under My Classes at the bottom of this page.
Click + New Class to open the New Student Class panel and fill in the following:
Click Save to create the class.
Saving the class takes you to People Management, where you can add students and track overall progress. Use + Add Student to build your roster, Preview Student Guide to see what students will see, and Settings to adjust class-level options after setup.
When a student logs in to Leader in Me Online, they land on Welcome to Learning & Credentials! and choose between two paths: My Learning (the Life-Ready Leadership Curriculum & Credentials, where their assigned modules live) and the Student Resource Library (supplemental resources). Students click My Learning to get to Discovering The 7 Habits.
From My Learning, students see every class they're enrolled in as a card — including Discovering The 7 Habits (BETA) — with a percent-complete indicator and module count. A My Credentials section below shows the micro-credentials and certificates they've earned or are working toward. Students who need to join a class use + Join Class at the top of this list.
Clicking into the class opens the same lesson structure you set up as the teacher, grouped as Foundations, The 7 Habits, and Assess and Celebrate, ending with the Demonstrate section where Lesson 13: Credentialing Exam lives.
Until you (the teacher) start the assessment, students see an Assessment Locked message and can't begin.
Once you start the assessment (see Administering a Credentialing Exam), the student's screen updates to Assessment Available, showing the time limit (60 minutes by default) before they click Start Assessment.
Before the exam begins, students must read and accept a short list of testing expectations (working honestly, staying focused, doing their best) and agree to FranklinCovey's Terms of Use.
The exam itself shows a live countdown timer, presents questions five at a time, and includes a read-aloud audio icon on every question and answer choice.
After the last question, clicking Finish submits all answers and confirms how many of the 62 questions were answered.
On the Review Results screen, students see their earned credential (with Download Badge and Download Certificate buttons), their overall score, a pass/fail message, and a Habit Breakdown showing accuracy by section.
