Clever Integration
Does your school or district use Clever? Contact Heidi Robinson to get your Leader in Me faculty and staff connected for easy access to their accounts. Heidi can be reached via email at heidi.robinson@franklincovey.com.
Principals are automatically registered for Leader in Me Online as part of a school's onboarding process. What are the next steps to bring the power of Leader in Me Online to everyone in your school? Use this how-to guide to register all staff members.
Step 1: Navigate to School Users
Move your cursor over My Districts & Schools in the navigation bar at the top to open the dropdown, then click School Users.
Step 2: Select the Staff Users Tab
Locate the two tabs at the top of the page: Staff Users and Student Users. Click Staff Users to view your school's staff roster.
Step 3: Add or Invite Staff Users
Click the Manage Staff Users dropdown in the top right of the Staff Users table. This opens three options:
- New Staff User: add one staff member at a time.
-
Bulk Upload Users: upload a list of staff to the Upload CSV upload area to register them all at once.
- After uploading your list, the system automatically matches each column to the corresponding field.
- Review the matches, correct any errors via the dropdown menus, and skip columns that don't apply.
- Once all columns show “Ready,” click Match my Data, then Submit my Data.
- Invite Staff: send staff a preformatted email invitation they can accept themselves.
Step 4: Share Site Administrator Access
Users with Site Administrator permission receive emails when staff request activation and can invite, manually enter, and activate/edit users. To grant this to another staff member, such as your Lighthouse Coordinator:
1. Find their name in the Staff Users table and click the ··· menu under Actions in that row.
2. Select Edit User from the menu.
3. Scroll to User Roles. If the staff member has access at more than one site (e.g., multiple schools, or a school and district), you'll see a separate Site Permission and Role row for each. Edit the correct row using the dropdown menu.
4. Set Site Permission to Site Administrator for the relevant school or district.
5. Click Save at the bottom of the page.
