Can multiple users upload evidence at the same time?
Short answer: Yes.
Any number of users can upload evidence at the same time with the Add Evidence button on the Implementation Progress page. Use this method, and everyone's uploads are saved. The only risk comes from two people changing Implementation Self-Assessment scores at the same time.
Recommended: Upload With Add Evidence
This method is always safe, no matter how many people are uploading at once. Uploads made this way never overwrite each other.
- Open your school's Leader in Me Journey page and select the Implementation Progress tab.
Select the Evidence tab, then click + Add Evidence. You can also click View All Evidence and then Add Evidence.
- In the Add Evidence window, complete each step:
- Step 1: Add title.
- Step 2: Select Framework. Choose the Category, Strand, and Highly Effective Practice (if applicable).
- Step 3: Add Description. If you're using an Action Plan as evidence, add its link here.
- Step 4: Add Evidence. Paste a link, or click Choose Files to upload up to eight files at once (.docx, .ppt, .png, .mp4, .mp3, .jpg, or .pdf).
Click Submit Evidence.
Use Caution: Updating Self-Assessment Scores
The Update Progress button opens the Implementation Self-Assessment. On this page, you select a score for each practice (No Evidence, Basic, Developing, Mature, or Sustaining) and click Save.
If two people change scores and click Save at about the same time, the second save can overwrite the first person's score changes.
Example
Teacher A sets "Everyone can be a leader" to Mature and saves. At the same time, Teacher B sets "Everyone has genius" to Mature and saves. Teacher B's save keeps their own score but can reset Teacher A's score to No Evidence.
Uploaded evidence is never lost. Only score selections can be overwritten. The Upload links inside the self-assessment are also safe to use, as long as no one else is changing scores at the same time.
Tips for Recertification Teams
- Have everyone upload evidence with Add Evidence on the Implementation Progress page.
- Assign one person to update scores in the Implementation Self-Assessment.
- If more than one person needs to update scores, take turns rather than working at the same time.
- After scores are saved, review the self-assessment to confirm every score is correct.
