Professional Learning gets a powerful set of updates focused on reporting, course assignment, and tracking.
- Site Admins now have access to a new Framework Statistics dashboard with real-time data, and updated module-level reporting makes it easy to view and export every submission.
- Learner group management got smarter too: reassign course start dates with pacing timelines that recalculate automatically, and skip or un-assign specific modules as needed. For example, if Modules 1–3 were covered in an in-person workshop, you can assign only the remaining modules going forward.
- Site Admins can also hide specific courses from staff. For example, a K–5 school may want to hide secondary courses from their team.
- Additionally, course and module certificates of completion now include the exact date and timestamp of when the course was completed.
Accessing the Admin Dashboard
From the Professional Learning Dashboard, click Admin Dashboard.
Who has access: FranklinCovey admins, coaches, and site administrators at schools or districts.
The admin view has two tabs at the top of the page, one of which is new.
New: Framework Statistics Tab
The Framework Statistics tab gives you a visual overview of the Leader in Me framework and tracks completion progress across each module.
Module-Level Detail
Select a module (for example, Student Voice), and the table below populates automatically. The table shows:
- Who has completed the module, and in what category.
- Who has the module in progress.
- Who has not started the module.
This view gives a clear picture of where all staff at a school or district stand.
Module Reporting Button
Each module also includes a Module Reporting button. For example, click Elementary to see:
- All users who have completed that module
- Their responses to feedback and module delivery questions
- The modality used to complete the module
- Who each respondent is
Together, these updates give schools and districts a clearer view of how their staff engage with and respond to training.
Updates to Learner Groups
Learner groups have a few improvements, whether you're editing an existing group or creating a new one.
Adjustable Start Dates and Pacing
- You can now adjust the start date and align the pacing timeline for a learner group.
- Updating the start date automatically updates all associated due dates:
- Module learning due dates
- Application challenge due dates
Unassigning Modules
You can now unassign specific modules from a learner group. For example, if a school completed some modules in person—such as Leadership Roles and Physical Environment—you can either:
- Toggle those modules off yourself.
- Ask the site administrator to toggle them off on their end.
New: Manage Courses
On the Admin Dashboard, click the new Manage Courses button to open a panel where you control which courses your school's staff can see. Toggle off any courses you want to hide. The courses listed reflect what's included in your subscription.
Achievement Downloads
Achievements are now easier to access and include more detail.
Downloading Certificates
From the Professional Learning Dashboard, click the My Achievements tab.
Click Download Certificates next to the course. You can download a course completion certificate or module completion certificates.
You can also open the course and select Download Proof of Completion. Either option downloads the certificate as a PDF. Certificates now display the exact date and time of completion.
Additional Updates
Estimated Time Left
The blue widget in the top-right corner of each course now shows the estimated time left. It appears until you fully complete the course.
Full Screen
Collapse the right-hand navigation to view the module in full-screen mode.
