If a student doesn’t pass the Credentialing Exam on their first try, you can give them another attempt. This article explains how attempts are tracked and how to reopen the exam for a retake.
Assessment Results Table
The Assessment Results table on the Progress and Evaluation screen shows an Attempts column for every student, along with their Assessment Status. A student who doesn’t pass shows a Fail status with their score (for example, Fail 20/62).
Reopening the Exam for the Class
1. On the Progress and Evaluation screen, click Reopen Assessment to open a fresh start window for the class.
2. Confirm the prompt. Students who are already testing are not interrupted.
3. Review the confirmation summary. It shows how many students had their window extended, how many were newly granted access, and how many were skipped because they have no unused attempts remaining.
Granting an Individual Student Another Attempt
To give a student with a Fail status another attempt, click the ··· menu in the Actions column next to their name.
