Finding the Credential Release Setting
The Credential Release setting is in the New Student Class form, below Assigned Module. It applies to every student in the class.
Automatic Release
When you select Automatic (release when scored), each student receives their credential as soon as their exam is scored. You don't need to take any action.
This is the default option. Choose it if you want students to get their results and credential without waiting for a manual review.
After submitting the exam, a student who passes sees their score, habit breakdown, and earned credential on the Review Results screen, along with Download Badge and Download Certificate buttons.
Manual Release
When you select Manual (I'll release each result myself), exams are still scored, but each credential is held until you release it.
Choose this option if you want to review results before students see them—for example, to check for testing irregularities or to release credentials in a batch.
