When a district purchases a ProLearning Pass subscription, it includes 50 seats by default. Existing users on the district account can be assigned a seat with ease. For new users not yet on the account, you can invite them and assign a ProLearning Pass permission to get them set up.
ProLearning Pass NEW is a new permission that gives users access to professional learning courses. It can be used in one of two ways, and the user's experience depends on which applies.
Way 1: Professional learning access only. The user sees only their professional learning courses.
Way 2: Access for school users when a district purchases ProLearning Pass. The user keeps their normal school experience, with ProLearning Pass content added inside Professional Learning.
Way 1: Professional Learning Access Only
Use this when you need to give someone access to a course without giving them access to your dashboard, school data, or other Leader in Me features. Assign them the ProLearning Pass permission.
Example: Jane Doe has the ProLearning Pass permission.
1. When she logs in, she is taken straight to her Professional Learning dashboard.
2. She won't see the account dashboard or any other navigation items.
3. Her view is limited to her professional learning courses.
Way 2: Access for School Users When a District Purchases ProLearning Pass
Example: John Doe is a site administrator with the role of principal at FranklinCovey Demo School K-12. His district, ProLearning Pass District Demo, purchased ProLearning Pass.
His district administrators wanted to assign him courses, but did not want him to access the district dashboard or other data from schools in their district. Because he also holds a school membership, his experience is different:
1. He lands on the normal Leader in Me school homepage.
2. The top navigation and other Leader in Me features are unaffected.
3. A ProLearning Pass banner appears on the Professional Learning dashboard.
4. A ProLearning Pass tab appears on the All Courses page within Professional Learning.
Note: For school users, the permission only unlocks the ProLearning Pass banner and tab. It does not give them access to the district dashboard or to data from other schools in the district.
