If a student doesn't pass the Credentialing Exam on their first try, you can give them another attempt. This article explains how attempts are tracked and how to reopen the exam for a retake.
The Assessment Results table on the Progress and Evaluation screen shows an Attempts column for every student, along with their Assessment Status. A student who does not pass shows a Fail status with their score (for example, Fail — 20/62).
1. On Progress and Evaluation, click Reopen Assessment to open a fresh start window for the class.
2. Confirm the prompt. Students already testing are not interrupted.
3. Check the confirmation summary. It reports how many students had their window extended, how many were newly granted access, and how many were skipped because they have no unused attempts remaining.
Students with a Fail status can be granted another attempt by clicking the 3 dots under that Actions Column.
